Before you Come
Make an appointment
Please call to book an appointment. We do not currently require any kind of deposit and would like to keep it that way. If your plans change, just give us a call to let us know so that we are not waiting at the boat launch for no reason. The address listed on the website is only one launch site. All of our launch sites are within a mile of the address listed on google maps, just make sure you are going to the correct site. Please do not just show up at the address listed on google maps and expect someone to be there to accommodate you.
Drinking Water
Bring some bottled drinking water with a cap to take with you when you are doing kayak rentals.
Wear Sandals
Wear sandals or some type of shoe you don't mind getting wet.
Wear comfortable layers
If its cool in the morning, wear some comfy layers so you can adjust as the sun and temperature changes. Feel free to wear a bathing suit as well, weather permitting.
Bring a Ziplock bag
This is an amazing place. You will want to take pictures. If your phone is not water proof, bring a ziplock bag for your phone.
Sunblock
Even on a cloudy day, you will need some form of sunblock. Sun glasses and a hat are also a good idea.
The Bathroom
Use the restroom before you come to the boat ramp. We do not have public restroom facilities.
ID
Everyone on the kayak tours needs ID, even minors. Be sure you have a state or federally issued picture ID, this includes ALL minors on the tour. This could be something from the DMV, a military ID, passport, or ident-a-kid. Age and photo must be on the id. No children under the age of 10 please.
Can you swim?
Please fill out a digital release form and do not sign up if you can't swim. you must be able to swim to do this tour for liability reasons.
