The Gilligan Tour is where we take up to 12 guests on 3 hour kayak tours and then leave our guests on an uninhabited island to their own devices. Guests return at their discretion before dusk, just across the protected cove. For the “Gilligan tour” we launch our kayaks from a private ramp into the Canals of Bonneau Beach where we paddle into the cove. This destination is uniquely situated so there is no need to go out onto “the big water.” This guided trip takes guests to explore Boyscout Island, a locals secret. This uninhabited island is void of crowds because it is difficult to access even by boat. With a local guide and kayaks, one can navigate the stump fields and shallows to access pristine beaches and cypress coves. On this trip our guide will identify all types of wildlife from alligators to birds of prey like osprey. Guides offer their local knowledge about this “Sportsman's Paradise” and Lake Moultrie. Once guests arrive at their final destination, our guide will leave our guests to enjoy a pristine beach to themselves until they feel like paddling home. Guests will leave with lifelong memories of one of nature’s most beautiful secrets. Tours accommodate from 2-10 people. please call in advance so we may cater a tour to your needs. My husband ad I have been in the Lowcountry for over 25 years. I am from Charleston originally, but we discovered this treasure here on lake Moultrie, uprooted our lives and moved here 3 years ago. We’ve submerged ourselves in the local culture since then. We are travelers, anglers, kayakers, sailors and so much more. He’s a hunter and into herping. We’re both all around nature lovers. We enjoy sharing this slice of paradise we have discovered and our local knowledge with others.
